About me : Brendan Ted Shook

My name is Brendan Teddy Shook, I grew up on the water in Long Island New York. From a young age I always loved boating and the beach, till this day its still my favorite place too be, weather I am fishing on a boat, relaxing on the beach or racing around on my Waverunner, the water has always been my home.

My journey starts out when I was only 13 years old and was gifted an old 1983 center console proline from my grandfather when i graduated the 5th grade. This boat wasn’t your ordernary nice looking boat, the hull was soft, had holes, and the engine barely worked most of the time, it was only worth nothing more than $3,000 dollars. While all my friends had jetskis i wanted something newer, faster, cleaner and more reliable than htis old boat that barely worked, but how?

I decided to sell my old center console proline on facebook market place for 2,500 bucks and in return searched for something more reliable and faster. And I did, I bought my first Yamaha Waverunner on July 30th, 2019. It was a standard 2015 VX deluxe model that did 50mph but I loved it so much it was my prized posestion. However, this was only the beginning of my journey….

From that point on I used facebook market to find good cheap deals on jetski’s. When the market sky rocketed in May and June months I would sell for a higher price than I bought it. Eventually leading to my next PWC (personal watercraft) or jetski down below…

This was my first time having a something go faster than 60mph on the water, the feeling of the speed and acceleration was like no other. From that point on I fell in love with getting new skis, buying and selling, and also the feeling of success.

In conclusion, this is the ski I have now, a 2021 Yamaha 82mph supercharged beast that is by far the fastest and most expensive ski i’ve ever owned. If you told me 6 years ago (when I had the crappy 1983 old boat that was only worth about $2,500 bucks) that I would have the jetski I have today, I would have never believed you in a million years, thats the point of all this… keeping going, keep hustling, there will be road blocks along the way but that doesnt stop the entire jounry, always strive for more and what makes you happy.
